The Association of Kato Panagia, Asia Minor, actively participated in the 7th Panhellenic Gathering of OPSE—a major meeting of Asia Minor associations from across Greece—held in Nea Ionia, Attica.

A highlight of the event schedule was the OPSE Youth Pre-conference, held at the headquarters of the "Sparta of Asia Minor" Association in Nea Ionia, Attica. More than forty young people from OPSE member associations met, exchanged views on the future of organized Asia Minor youth, and elected the first 13-member Youth Coordinating Committee; this committee will undertake the preparations for the 1st OPSE Youth Conference, scheduled to take place in 2026.

Our Association actively participated in the proceedings of the pre-conference, and we are delighted to announce that our representative, Georgia Soulioti (née Psouni), has been elected to the new 13-member Coordinating Committee.
This election is a distinct honor for our Association and, at the same time, a significant responsibility towards the new generation of Asia Minor Greeks, who are called upon to safeguard historical memory and continue the work of the refugee associations.
Warm congratulations to our representative, as well as to all the members of the new Coordinating Committee. We wish them strength and every success in their work.
