A new initiative by the Association of Kato Panagia, Asia Minor, to connect descendants with their family history.

For more than a hundred years, the families of Kato Panagia have been scattered across different corners of Greece and the world.

Chios, Athens and Piraeus, Thessaloniki, Skiathos, and the new Kato Panagia in Ilia—as well as countries such as Australia, America, South Africa, and Tanzania—became the new homes for the people forced to leave their homeland.

However, the story of the families did not end there.

Today, a century later, the descendants are returning in search of their roots.

And with them begins anew the search for the names, the family ties, the places, and the stories hidden within the old archives.
